The sub market segment Japanese Laminates contains adhesives for building parts, manufactured for the japanese market. The majority of products are japanese beam, japanese posts, mabashira, dodai and  hagarazai which are produced with PRF, EPI, MF and MUF.

Japanese Laminates:
Historically, the wooden houses in Japan were constructed in a skeleton style. Beams are used for horizontal, load-bearing building parts, and are bonded with PRF and MF adhesives. Posts are used for vertical building parts, mainly bonded with EPI. Dodai are used for contact with ground (soil) and mabashira are used for various application areas, as well as Hagarazai (fingerjointed lamellas)
